About

Jessica is an artist based in San Francisco who has been creating since she was a child in the northern Bay Area. After earning her BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in 2006, her career took off in 2009 as a live performance painter, captivating audiences at music festivals and events across the United States, Central America, and Europe.

She gained widespread recognition within the Visionary Art community, a genre dedicated to expressing the intangible spiritual and emotional states of human experience. Her early acrylic works were filled with intricate symbolism, often reflecting themes of nature, interconnection, and ecological sustainability.

In recent years, Jessica has evolved her practice, moving toward a more contemporary style influenced by the Impressionists. Now working primarily with oil paints and a palette knife, her landscape pieces merge abstract geometric patterns with the dotted mark-making of Impressionism, creating a unique visual language that evokes a sense of subconscious nostalgia and emotional resonance. Her experimental approach creates a groundbreaking bridge between visionary and traditional art, offering viewers an experience that feels both familiar and otherworldly.

Color is a defining element in Jessica's work, where she masterfully uses it to evoke emotion and capture a sense of vitality and joyful wonder. Through her thoughtful use of vibrant hues, she creates immersive experiences that invite viewers to connect with the energy and emotion of each piece.
